DAY 0: Arrive and over night stay at Siliguri
On arrival at Bagdogra airport, you will be received by our team member. Check in hotel at Siliguri.
DAY 1: Siliguri to Phuentsholing
Today after breakfast drive to Phuentsholing, the second largest town in Bhutan, is on the Indian border, next to the town of Jaigaon. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2: Phuentsholing to Paro
After breakfast departure for Paro, the charming town of Paro lies on the banks of the Paro (or Pa) Chhu, just a short distance northwest of the imposing Paro Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 3: Paro to Thimpu
In the morning have a crisp ride to Haa valley via Chelela Pass which is located at an altitude of 3988m. The ride is exciting as we cross the Chelela pass at 13000ft!
After lunch departure for Thimpu, the capital and largest city of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Overnight stay at Thimpu.
Day 4: Thimpu to Punakha
We depart for Punakha, which is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag. En-route stop at Dochula Pass (3150 m), 30 km from Thimphu. Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day 5: Rest Day- Punakha ( seight seeing)
Khamsum Vallay Temple is Undoubtedly one of the most elaborate temples in Bhutan. Visit the local Ritsha Village. Rice farming is another attraction of Punakha Valley where both red and white rice are grown along the river valleys of Pho and Mo Chhu (rivers).
Day 6: Punakha to Gelephu
After an early breakfast, we depart for Gelephu, a town in Sarpang District in Bhutan. It is located on the Indian border, about 30 km to the east of Sarpang. Overnight stay at Gelephu.
Day 7: Gelephu to Jaldapara
After an early breakfast, departure for Jaldapara, Jaldapara, the vast grassland with patches of riverine forests, particularly the one-horned rhinoceros. Overnight stay at Jaldapara jungle lodge.
Day 8: Jaldapara to Darjeeling
After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling, Nestled among the rolling mountains with the glistening Mt Kanchenjunga towering over the azure sky, Darjeeling fondly called “Queen of the Hills”.
Day 9: Darjeeling to Pelling
After breakfast, we will proceed to Pelling in West Sikkim. The journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Teesta River and then beautiful Rangit River till Legship.
Day 10: Pelling to Ravangla
Today we will proceed to Ravangla, a small tourist town situated at an elevation of 7000 ft in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. Overnight say at Ravangla.
Day 11: Ravangla to Gangtok
After breakfast, we will proceed to Gangtok, the capital and the largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim overlooking some of the spectacular Himalayan Peaks.
Day 12: Rest day at Gangtok (sight seeing)
Nathu la pass located at an altitude of 14,140 feet and 52kms from Gangtok, Rumtek Monastery, Tsomgo Lake, Phurchachu hot spring are few of the places worth visiting in Gangtok.
Day 13: Gangtok to Siliguri
After breakfast, we will proceed to Silliguri, a city which spans across the Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts in the Indian state of West Bengal. Our magnificient tour ends here.
