Mashobra is a retreat with apple orchards, pine and oak forest. The area is the habitat for jackals, barking dea and leopards. Mahasu peak is the highest peak of KUFRI from where Badrinath and Keddarnath ranges are clearly viewed. Ideal place for camping and trekking. The scenic view of snow covered peaks abundant landscape gives one a wonderful experience. Himalayan national park has a wide variety of flora like Spruce, blue pine, deodar and Holly.
